Brian is a graphic designer and Heidi is a working from home these days. We met and, after 8 months, said, "I do" in 2010. Tisetso, our 7 year old son, loves Lego figures, super heroes, and creating scenes using his crayons and stickers.

Suburban Living
When we got married, I moved back to Illinois after living in Louisville, Kentucky for six years. It took a while to get used to the suburban way of life, but this place is starting to feel like home. The only thing I'm not used to yet are the winters. And traffic.
Adoption
We felt led to adopt as we were listening to the audiobook Adopted for Life (Moore). We desire, through the journey, was to encourage others to consider adoption. We realize adoption is not for everyone, but it is for some.
The call for us to adopt has led us to pursue international adoption in South Africa. We started the process in December 2013. We met our son, Tisetso, on January 7, 2016.
